My Story...
I was always carrying 10 to 15 pounds that was difficult to get rid of despite my active lifestyle and commitment to intense workouts. When perimenopause hit, the weight was compounded with body aches and pain, brain fog, anxiety, depression and even more weight gain. I just assumed this was all a part of getting older. One of my amazing Pilates clients told me about Dr. Mindy Pelz and FLAG.
Mindy Pelz uses fasting in a way that is specific for women with the knowledge that our bodies are incredible miracles, but have been bombarded with toxins, processed foods and and other inhibitors which keep it from working the way it should. So it wasn't about what I was or wasn't doing, it was about the environment that I was in. So I followed the FLAG protocals and then became one of the first Certified FLAG Coaches.
I also know from years of struggling with weight that sometimes there is more to commitment and willpower. Other things get in our way! I decided to also certified in Integrative Health and Nutrition and become Board Certified as a Health and Wellness Coach (NBHWC)!
